Hosanna Day (Matthew 21:1-11 Luke 19:28-40)

Today, we will learn about Hosanna Day.
오늘 우리는 종려주일에 관해 배울꺼에요.
The people in Jerusalem wanted Jesus to be their king.
예루살렘 사람들은 예수님이 그들의 왕이 되기를 바랬어요
Once when Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem,
어느날 예수님이 예루살렘으로 오시는 길에,
He sent two his friends to find a donkey for him.
예수님은, 두 친구를 보내어 나귀를 찾아보게 하셨어요.
They found a young donkey that no one had ever ridden before.
그들은 어린나귀를 찾았는데, 그 나귀는 아무도 탄적이 없는 나귀 였데요.
The owner was happy to borrow his donkey.
주인은 나귀를 예수님께 빌려드리게 되어 기뻐했어요.
Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem.
예수님은 나귀를 타고 예루살렘에 들어가셨어요.
When people saw Jesus, they cheered, and happy
예수님이 사람들을 보셨을 때, 그들은 환호하고 즐거워했어요.
Because they thought Jesus was going to be a great king.
왜냐하면, 그들은 예수님이 아주 훌륭한 왕이 되어 주실 꺼라 생각했어요.
People waved branches from the trees and laid them in front of the donkey
사람들은 나뭇가지를 흔들고 당나귀 밑에 나뭇가지를 내려 놓았어요.
So they followed him and shouted, “Hosanna~! Hosanna~!” Jesus is King~, He is Son of God”~!!”
그들은 예수님을 쫒아가면서 외쳤어요. 호산나 호산나 예수님은 왕이세요.
예수님은 하나님의 아들이에요~!
Try saying that with me. “Hosanna~! Hosanna~!”
같이 말해 볼까여? 호산나 호산나~!
Hosanna means something like “ Praise God~!”
호산나의 의미는 하나님을 찬양 하라는 뜻이에요.
All the people were so happy.
모든 사람들은 매우 행복했어요.
But there was just one thing wrong.
그러나 단 한가지 틀린 점이 있어요.
They wanted Jesus come to be a powerful king.
그들은 예수님이 대단한 왕이 되기를 바랬지만,
But God didn’t want.
하나님은 그렇지 않았어요.
God wanted Jesus to die on the cross
하나님은 예수님이 십자가에 달려 죽기를 원했어요.
So he could forgive us for all the wrong things we do
우리의 모든 잘못을 용서해 주시기로 하셨어요.
And bring us to heaven to live with him forever.
그래서 하나님나라에서 함께 영원히 살게 해주셨어요.
So Jesus do what God wanted him to do.
그래서 예수님은 하나님이 원하시는 대로 하셨어요.
Jesus died for us.
예수님은 우리를 위해 돌아가셨어요.
Every year at Easter time, we celebrate how Jesus died on the cross and rose again.
매년, 부활절에 우리는 예수님이 십자가에 죽으신 것과 다시 살아나신 것을 축하해요.
We’re glad Jesus is our king and stay together with us.
우리는 예수님이 우리 왕이신 것을 기뻐해요. 그리고 우리와 함께 계신 것을 기뻐해요.
